GSi Genuine Sounds is a collection of finely sampled instruments based on a proprietary sound engine developed by GSi called WLF - Wavetable Linear Format. The WLF Engine is known for its high efficiency, providing exceptional performance with minimal memory usage and CPU load. This allows for high polyphony, even on less capable devices. All sounds included in the Genuine Sounds collections are meticulously sampled using specialized software and hardware equipment.

With Genuine Sounds Volume First, GSi introduces their new technology to the market, showcasing some of the best acoustic and electric piano samples created by the company. They express their commitment to continue expanding this line and releasing collections focused on various instrument categories in the future.

The piano samples included in this collection feature natural decay without loops, offering an authentic representation of the original pianos from which they were sampled. Some of these samples have been utilized in hardware products from Crumar and GSi, albeit in a different format.
